I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Pulte Institute for Global Development at the University of Notre Dame, where I collaborate with Dr. Helge-Johannes Marahrens on research related to global city networks. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Florida State University in 2025. My Ph.D. advisor is Dr. Kerry Fang.

My research adopts a relational perspective to understand how connections among and within cities shape urban development. I construct and analyzes city networks across multiple dimensions, including innovation, multimodal transportation, population migration, trade flows, entrepreneurial ties, and stakeholder communication. My work examines whether and how cities’ positions within these networks affect their ability to grow, adapt and recover.

My approaches include social network analysis, text mining, econometrics,  GIS, and natural language processing.
